Our meeting rooms pay homage to Asheville’s vibrant history. Take, for example, the Graham Room, honoring the renowned evangelist Billy Graham. The Ashe Room is named for the Harvard-educated Samuel Ashe, state governor in the 1790s. The Wilcox Room pays tribute to Glenn Wilcox Sr., who in the 1960s was enticed by a free two-year lease to become the first tenant of the original BB&T Bank building, now home to Kimpton Hotel Arras.
